About the Author

Franco Zeffirelli is one of Italy's greatest director and producer of operas, films and television.

Caterina Napoleone has published several books, including Zeffirelli at The Met: One Thousand Five Hundred and Forty-Nine Performances (So Far). In 2009 she was Zeffirelli’s historical adviser on his Omaggio a Roma, a short film about the Eternal City.
