Trade Sales Fulfilment Executive

We are looking to recruit a commercially minded, self-motivated Trade Sales Fulfilment Executive. The aim of this role is help maximise sales of Thames & Hudson titles and those of its extensive distributed client portfolio, working with our warehouse and distribution centres in the UK, Europe and India, along with our subsidiary operations in Asia-Pacific.  Liaising with people at all levels, inside and outside the organisation, including the Sales, Production and Finance teams, this role is fundamental to the overall performance and smooth running of Trade Sales.

Key duties include:

  • supporting the UK warehouse and distribution operation by acting as the central point of contact for questions on title availability
  • managing order fulfilment across the group, including collaborating with the International Sales Manager in presenting the forward programme
  • overseeing the inventory reorder management and stock control for client publishers, including analysing stock flow, and preparing reorders

Experience within publishing, warehousing and/ or distribution is essential, along with strong analytical, time management and negotiation skills.  You will need to be numerate, highly proficient with Office 365 and familiar with using order-to-cash and/ or warehouse management systems and have first class communication skills. A demonstrable interest in visual arts publishing would be hugely advantageous.
