Terms & Conditions

 Eligibility

1. No purchase is necessary.

2. This prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) only, aged 18 and over.

3. The prize draw opens on Thursday 17 April, 2025.

4. To be eligible, entrants must fill in the form on the Thames & Hudson website before 24 April 2025 at 23:59 (‘the Closing Date’). Please note that the form will give entrants the choice to opt-in to the Thames & Hudson newsletter and The Foundling Museum newsletter.

5. Entrants must fulfil the entry requirements before the Closing Date.

6. Entrants may only complete the form once.

7. Thames & Hudson and The Foundling Museum (‘the Promoters’) take no responsibility for any entries delayed, mis-directed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. Entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.

 

Offer and Fulfilment

8. The winning entrant will be eligible to receive a copy of the following books: Ceramics Masterclass (9780500295717), Contemporary Ceramics (9780500514870), Clay (9780500500729),and two tickets to The Foundling Museum’s exhibition, Self-Made: Reshaping Identities (‘the Prizes’).

9. The Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.

10. The Promoters reserve the right (but are not obliged) to substitute an alternative to the books in the Prizes which are of equal or greater value should they deem it to be necessary.

11. The winner of the Prizes will be selected at random by the Promoters from all complete and eligible entries.

12. The winners will be notified via email no later than 30 April 2025. To receive their prize, winners are required to provide the Promoters with their full name, UK address and phone number.

13. If a winner chooses not to or is not able, for any reason, to accept the Prizes or cannot be contacted within 24 hours of notification that they have won, the Promoters reserve the right (but are not obliged) to award a Prize to an alternative entrant who shall be selected at random from all complete and eligible entries.

14. Entrants who have not won a Prize will not receive any notification.

15. The winner’s name will be available upon written request to the Promoter at the address below.

 

Other

16. The Promoters reserve the right to terminate or withdraw this prize draw at any time. in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid consumer disappointment.

17. The Promoters decision on all matters is final. No correspondence will be entered into other than that stated in clause 12 above.

18. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.

19. The Promoters may amend these terms and conditions by posting changes to them on this website.

20. Employees and freelancers, as well as family members of employees and freelancers, working for the Promoters are not eligible to enter.
