Sales Ledger Clerk

•             Part-time, 3 to 4 days a week, permanent

•             £24,000 £26,000 p.a., full-time equivalent

•             Hybrid working potential, based in Central London

•             Closing date 2 August

This role sits in our finance department and reports to the Senior Accounts Assistant. You will be responsible for ensuring the sales ledger invoices are produced accurately to month end deadlines.

The Role

·      Enter Confirmations of Orders onto the finance system

·      Raise all sales invoices

·      Weekly postings of cash receipts onto the finance system

·      Credit control

·      Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required

·      Assist with annual audit requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

·      Previous Sales Ledger and Credit Control experience

·      Good understanding of Sales Ledgers (nominal ledger, and purchase desirable)

·      Methodical with strong attention to detail

·      Good computer skills especially Excel

·      Knowledge and use of an accounting package, Sage desirable but not essential

·      Numerate and accurate

·      Good organisational skills

·      Self-motivated

·      Able to work as part of a team
