Editorial Manager, Design, Architecture and Lifestyle (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking an experienced Editorial Manager to work on a dynamic list that ranges from interiors, lifestyle and travel titles to books targeted at architecture and design students and professionals, under both the T&H and Volume (vol.co) imprints. The position reports to the International Editorial Director, a senior member of the commissioning team, and entails project management of individual titles as well as tracking progress across the list and supporting the other members of this small team.

It is essential that you are able to manage multiple complex illustrated books simultaneously through every stage of the production process efficiently and to budget, from delivery through the editorial, design and production processes; and to work collaboratively with authors and colleagues. Your editorial standards will be exacting. You will have a thorough knowledge of InDesign and experience of briefing and managing freelance designers and editors. You will have experience of drafting marketing and sales copy.
