In conversation with art critic Martin Gayford, world-renowned da Vinci expert and art historian Martin Kemp relates his fifty-year relationship with the work of the most famous artist of all time. He evokes the unique genius of Leonardo da Vinci through a lively mixture of personal narrative and historical research.

Drawing from his new book, Living with Leonardo: Fifty Years of Sanity and Insanity in the Art World and Beyond, Kemp offers unprecedented insight into his encounters with fellow Leonardo scholars, collectors, curators, devious dealers and unctuous auctioneers. He also talks fascinatingly about the thorny questions surrounding attribution, the unregulated art market, conservation and the role of science and the internet in the contemporary art world.

Martin Kemp will be signing copies of his book Living with Leonardo: Fifty Years of Sanity and Insanity in the Art World and Beyond after the talk.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
