Patrick Bingham-Hall is a well-known writer and photographer who has authored more than twenty books on architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. His writing reflects a preoccupation with the relationship between architecture and society, and with the co-existence of the built and natural environments. His field of particular interest is the dramatic development of cities in 21st century Asia, and the role that architecture and town planning have to play in this phenomenon. He divides his time between Singapore, Sydney, and Oxford, UK.
