Ana Cabrera-Lafuente

Ana Cabrera Lafuente has been a Spanish museum curator since 2001. Her research focuses on textiles, especially those from the medieval period, on the collecting of textiles and on museum management. She has been recipient of several international grants/fellowships, including the Marie S.-Curie Fellow at the Victoria and Albert Museum (https://www.vam.ac.uk/research/projects/interwoven) funded by EU Commission. Her articles and books focus on medieval textiles and the history of collecting. At present she is the director of the Spanish Institute of Cultural Heritage and Honorary member of the V&A Research Department.
