Courtenay Smith

Courtenay Smith is an independent writer, translator, and curator for contemporary art and design whose previous international exhibitions include Lucy Orta: Body Architecture, Shanghai Surprise, and Xtreme Houses. She has held numerous curatorial positions in museums and galleries in the United States and Germany. In 2018, she co-curated the exhibition PAUSE at Munich’s Haus der Kunst. She is co-editor of Arbeit an der Pause (Working Towards a Pause), 2019, Walther König Publishing.
