Claire Allen-Johnstone

Claire Allen-Johnstone works in the Furniture, Textiles and Fashion Department of the Victoria and Albert Museum as an Assistant Curator. Previous roles have included Project Cataloguer, also at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Tutor for Visiting Student Programmes at the University of Oxford. Claire completed a DPhil on ‘Dress, Feminism, and British New Woman Novels’ at the University of Oxford. This project benefitted from funding including the Wilfrid Knapp Scholarship (Arts) at St Catherine’s College
